Invitations: joining by invite and inviting others

Use an invitation to create your account or join an organization, and invite colleagues to yours.

There are two kinds of invitation: a personal link from our team to create an account, and an email invitation to join an organization.

If someone from our team sent you a personal invitation link:

  1. Open the link. It takes you to sign-up with the email address you were invited at.
  2. Create your account.
  3. On Set up your company, create your company's organization or join one you've been invited to. See creating an account.

The link works for 60 days and only for you. If you already created your account with it, the link takes you to sign in instead.

If you see This invitation link doesn't work any more, the link may have expired or been replaced. Ask the person who sent it for a new one. If you already have an account, choose Sign in at the top of the page.

An invitation to join an organization

When an owner invites you to their organization, you get an email.

  • If you don't have an account yet, follow the link in the email and sign up with the address it was sent to.
  • If you already have an account, sign in, choose your organization's name at the top right, then Create or join an organization. Invitations sent to your email address are listed there.

Once you join, you get the role you were invited with. See organizations for what each role can do.

Invite colleagues

Only owners can invite people.

In a Sponsor organization:

  1. Choose your organization's name at the top right, then Manage followed by its name.
  2. Invite your colleague by email address.

In a vendor organization:

  1. Go to Team.
  2. Under Invite a colleague, enter their Email, choose a Role, and choose Send invite.
  3. They appear under Pending invitations until they join. Owners can revoke an invitation there.

For more on vendor teams, see inviting teammates.

Invite colleagues at the email address they'll sign up with. An invitation is tied to that address.
