This page explains, in plain terms, what the app records as you use it. It doesn't replace the privacy policy, which is the legal text.
Your account
Our sign-in provider stores your email address and name. We keep a copy of both, the organizations you belong to and your role in each.
We also record the last time you visited while signed in, at most once an hour. If you joined with a personal invitation link from our team, we record when you first opened it and when you signed up.
Searching and browsing
When someone uses browse, search, Compare or shortlists, we record what happened: a vendor page viewed, a search term, the filters used, a vendor added to Compare, a shortlist saved.
- These records don't include who you are or your IP address.
- If you're signed in to a Sponsor organization, the record notes that organization.
- Search engines, link previews and other automated visits aren't counted.
For Sponsors who are signed in, we also keep a daily count of activity: how many searches, vendor pages, comparisons and saved shortlists you had that day. This count is linked to you, but it doesn't say which vendors or what you searched for.
Changes people make
Some actions are written to an audit log: who did it, when, what changed, and the IP address it came from. This covers our team's admin actions and changes such as saving, renaming or deleting a shortlist, editing a vendor dashboard, and changes to a vendor team.
Who sees what
- Vendors see weekly totals for their own listing, such as page views and how often they were added to Compare or a shortlist. They don't see who you are or which organization you're from. See what vendors see.
- Your colleagues see your organization's shortlists, with the name of whoever saved each one. In a vendor organization, everyone on the team can see the team's names and email addresses.
- Our team sees search terms and filters only as totals, without who used them. For people we invited, we can see when they signed up, when they last visited and how many days they've been active.
Cookies and site analytics
We count page visits with cookieless analytics. Signing in uses our sign-in provider's cookies to keep you signed in.
