An organization is your company's shared space. What you do while signed in belongs to the organization you're working in, not just to you. For example, a shortlist saved in a Sponsor organization is visible to everyone in it.
Two kinds of organization
- Sponsor organizations are for biotech and pharma teams finding and comparing vendors. Anyone can create one when they set up their company.
- Vendor organizations hold a vendor's dashboard and team. Our team sets these up.
Each kind has its own area. A Sponsor organization opens its home page for finding vendors; a vendor organization opens its dashboard.
Roles
In a Sponsor organization:
- Owners manage the organization: its members and invitations.
- Owners and members can both browse, compare and save shortlists.
In a vendor organization:
- Owners manage the team and the dashboard.
- Editors edit and submit the dashboard.
- Viewers can see it but not change it.
The person who creates an organization is its owner. Everyone else gets the role they were invited with.
Switch organization
If you belong to more than one organization:
- Choose the organization's name at the top right of the page.
- Under Switch to, choose the organization you want.
- You're taken to that organization's area.
Only one organization is active at a time. What you see and save is always in the one named at the top right.
Create or join another organization
Choose the organization's name at the top right, then Create or join an organization. You can create a new Sponsor organization or accept an invitation sent to your email address.
Manage an organization
If you're an owner, the same menu shows Manage followed by the organization's name. For a Sponsor organization, that's where you see members and invite others. Vendor owners manage their team, including each person's role, on the Team page. See inviting teammates.
